We keep data collection to a minimum. Here's what we may collect:

If you choose to sign in with Google, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your email address

Signing in is entirely optional. You can use all core features of Becosy without creating an account.

2.2 · Data Collected Automatically

When you use the app, we may automatically collect basic analytics, including:

• Device type (e.g., iOS or Android)
• General usage patterns (e.g., which sounds or features are used most)
• App performance data (e.g., crash reports)

This data is collected in aggregate and is not tied to your identity unless you are signed in.

2.3 · Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Becosy stores your custom sound presets locally on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2.4 · What We Do NOT Collect

• Precise location data
• Payment or financial information
• Health or biometric data
• Contacts, photos, or files from your device
• Any sensitive personal information

03How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the app — understanding how features are used helps us make Becosy better.
• To authenticate you — if you sign in with Google, your name and email are used solely to identify your session.
• To fix bugs and crashes — performance data helps us keep the app stable.
• To communicate with you — only if you contact us directly.

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making that affects you.

05Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Becosy is a mobile application and does not use browser cookies. However, analytics tools we use may employ similar device-based identifiers (such as advertising IDs) to understand general usage patterns.

You can reset or opt out of these identifiers through your device's privacy settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID

06Data Retention

• Analytics data is retained for as long as necessary to improve the app, typically up to 12 months.
• Google Sign-In data (name and email) is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Local preset data is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.

07Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data.

If you are in the EU or EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

08Children's Privacy

Becosy is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

09Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to protecting your information to the best of our ability.

10International Data Transfers

If you are located outside the country where our servers are based, your data may be transferred internationally. We ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR requirements such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable.

Continued use of Becosy after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
